Broxtowe is a richly varied constituency; The former mining and brewery town of Kimberley lies to the north, with Beeston, the civic centre of the Borough and a popular home to many academics and students, in the south. Perhaps one of our finest treasures is the Attenborough Nature Reserve.

Broxtowe is the most densely populated Borough in Nottinghamshire, providing homes to many thousands of people from the boundary with Nottingham through Chilwell,Toton and Stapleford to the Derbyshire border. So our green belt is an important asset I am proud to defend, whether it's the land around Bramcote and Trowell, a few precious fields near Nuthall and Watnall or the glorious DH Lawrence landscape surrounding Greasley, Giltbrook, Awsworth and Cossall.
