Residents win campaign on Redwood Crescent

Residents of Redwood Crescent in Beeston have won their campaign to stop developers building on the communal green space in the middle of their road.

Stapleford Post Office success

Stapleford will finally get a new Post Office in Sean's Shop after it was announced that the town Post Office would be closed last year.  This comes after a successful campaign by Anna Soubry and local councillors to prevent the Post Office from moving to Bargain Booze against residents' wishes.

National Funding Formula for Schools

Anna Soubry MP has written to Education Secretary, Justine Greening, in response to a Department for Transport consultation on proposed changes to school funding.  Anna wrote to all Head Teachers in Broxtowe to ask for their views on the proposals and their responses were also forwarded.

Stop speeding in Moorgreen

Anna Soubry MP has raised residents concerns about speeding in Moorgreen with Nottinghamshire County Council Leader Alan Rhodes.  Anna wrote to Cllr Rhodes asking for action on the problem which has been going on for far too long.

Field Farm appeal

Anna Soubry MP has written to the Secretary of State for Communites and Local Government, Rt Hon Sajid Javis MP, to ask for more support to protect Broxtowe's Green Belt after the Local Authority lose an appeal to prevent poor quality development on Field Farm.
